Main Features
1) The catch pawl is designed with self-cleaning slot, it allows sufficient grip on icy or dirty rope.
2) Ergonomically designed handle provides comfortable grip and greater friction.
3) Two attachment points at the lower part are used to attach Y shaped lanyard ZRC44 and link a footcord ZRC49, the oval hole at the upper part can be linked for a carabiner to prevent the rope from taking off when the ascender is on rope for angular climbing or hauling.
4) It's suitable for single rope or diameter from 8-13MM.
Cautions
1. To make sure whether the equipment is free of cracks, deformation, marks, wear, corrosion or not.
2. Inspect the straps and frame visually and make sure whether the condition of pawl wheel is in a good condition (spring and axle).
3. Check the condition of the frame, the connection holes, the pawl wheel and safety handle, the springs and the pawl wheel axle.
4. WARNING, never use a rope clamp or grab which has missing or worn-out teeth.
5. To monitor the condition of the equipment and its connections to the other equipment in the system regularly is very important. Make sure that all pieces of equipment in the system are placed properly. WARNING: Be careful with the other materials which will interfere the operation of the pawl wheel.
6. The safety handle may snag and cause the pawl wheel to open.
7.Rope clamp or grab is the equipment which is raising rope. It slides along the rope in one direction and jams in the other direction.
8. The function of pawl wheel's teeth is to initiate a clamping action which blocks the rope between the pawl wheel and the frame. The slot in the pawl wheel can get rid of mud.
9. Pull the safety handle down and lock it to the frame of the equipment.
10.Then the pawl wheel will stay in the open position. Place the rope properly. You had better pay extra attention to the Up and Down indicator.

12.Push the safety handle so that the pawl wheel presses against the rope. In This position the safety handle will prevent the pawl wheel from opening involuntary.
13.Move away the rope.
14.When you pull down the safety handle, move the equipment up along the rope.
